Mowing, Trimming, Edging & Clean-up

Depending on if you have an irrigation or non-irrigated lawn, we have options tailored to your needs and budget. We ensure even and complete mowing of your turf at the appropriate height, using sharp blades. We carefully trim turf next to foundations, posts, and fences. Our mechanical steel blade edger creates clean, crisp edges along hard surfaces. At the end of each visit, we perform thorough clean-up by blowing away mowing debris.

Leaf Clean-up

Throughout the fall season, we make multiple visits to remove leaves from your property, either placing them on the street or in your natural area.

Weed Control in Beds

We address weeds in shrub beds, mulched natural areas, and ground cover areas during our visits. Our team primarily hand-weeds within shrub canopies and ground covers, and we also use non-selective herbicides to target persistent weeds.

Bed Pre-emergent

We offer treatments that provide extended weed suppression to keep your beds weed-free.

Brush Control Spray in Natural Areas

For effective control of “woody” brush, poison ivy, and tree seedlings in natural areas, we use selective herbicides.

Mulching and Shaping / Trenching of Bed Edges

Enhance the appearance of your beds and suppress weed growth by choosing from a variety of mulches, such as pine straw, stone, bark, or colored hardwood. We can also reshape or restore crisp bed edges by trenching to define the bed lines and retain the mulch.

Pruning of Shrubs

We recommend seasonal maintenance pruning of shrubs 2-3 times annually. This includes pruning of tender and woody perennials, ornamental grasses, and crepe myrtles. We can also perform tree uplimbing to increase ground clearance.

Core Aerification & Seeding of Fescue Lawns: Maintain the health and sustainability of your Fescue lawn by opting for our early fall core aerification and seeding service. Core aerification involves creating small holes in the soil to promote better water, air, and nutrient absorption by the roots. We then seed the lawn with a high-quality “Transition Blend” of Fescue seed to ensure optimal growth.

Top-dressing & Core Aerification for Warm Season Lawns: For warm-season lawns, we provide top-dressing and care aerification services. Top-dressing involves applying a thin layer of compost or soil mixture to the lawn surface, which helps improve soil quality and overall lawn health. Care aerification further enhances the soil by creating small holes to enhance water and nutrient penetration.
